My name is Amber, and I have Generalized Anxiety Disorder. There. I said it. Now that you know that about me, I’ll tell you why I’m writing this blog. I have long struggled with GAD, depression and BPD (Borderline Personality Disorder) and developed an eating disorder at the age of 17. I started this blog to finally let it all out and let the world know who I really am. These disorders are a part of me, but they don’t have to be permanent. I know there is a future for me and a way to overcome my mental illness. I hope this blog can help others as well as they travel this rocky road. Welcome to My Journey To Freedom From Anxiety. You sent me an email of layout advice for my blog, and I just wanted to let you know that it was very much appreciated.
I had a lot of trouble choosing a suitable header–most of the inspirational pretty pictures I found were too serious and clashed with my blog’s overall tone–so I ended up putting together my own. Now it’s a telekinetic cat, which may or may not be worse than not having a header at all.
I also tweaked my About page, and would love it if you could take another look when convenient.
